Athletes go wild at Tri Camp
Well, fairly wild that is. A dozen athletes enjoyed a full day of training at the Triathlon Skills Camp, hosted by Ten West Triathlon, on Feb 17th in Katy, TX. The Katy High School pool was the perfect start to the day for swim skills and fitness development with coaches Peter Foster and Sabrina Cook. We then progressed to a bike time trial between Katy and Brookshire, against some stiff winds (!). After lunch we had the wonderful Yoshi from Handlebar Cyclery give us a great bike maintenance class and transition clinic. It was then on to the 3 mile run, finishing up with a stretch session with Ariel Harlev. Several thirsty athletes retired to the No Label Brewing Company for essential fluid replacement therapy afterward. Look out for the next swim clinic in April.
